Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
This policy sets out what you may and may not do with Shaewoo. It forms part of the Terms of Service. Breaking it can mean a video is removed, or an account is suspended or closed.
What the service is for
Making short product videos and GIFs for your own shop, from product listings and photographs you have the right to use — for your listings, your social channels and your marketing.
You must not use Shaewoo to
Harm people
- Harass, bully, threaten, defame or humiliate anyone.
- Promote violence, self-harm, or hatred against people based on who they are.
- Use a photograph of a model or any identifiable person without the right to use it in advertising.
- Make any video featuring a person under 18.
Deceive people
- Impersonate a person, company or public body, or imply an endorsement that does not exist.
- Create synthetic media of a real person that shows them saying or doing something they did not.
- Upload a voiceover that imitates a real person's voice, or music you have no licence to use in adverts.
- Publish claims you know to be false, invented testimonials, or fabricated credentials.
- Advertise something you cannot deliver, or conceal who is behind an offer.
Break the law or others' rights
- Upload material you do not have the rights to — copyrighted work, trademarks, confidential documents.
- Upload other people's personal data without a lawful basis.
- Promote illegal goods or services, fraud, or anything designed to evade the law.
- Promote regulated products where you lack the licences to do so.
Break other platforms' rules
- Post a video where the shop, marketplace or ad platform forbids it, or in a way that breaks its advertising policy.
- Point us at a website that forbids automated access, or at pages you have no right to copy from.
- Show a price, discount, stock level or review that is not true, or a sale that is not really on.
Publish prohibited content
The categories we refuse outright are listed in the Prohibited Content Policy. Sexual content, adult services, and companionship or romantic AI characters are not permitted in any form.
Abuse the service itself
- Work around plan limits, watermarks, or usage counters.
- Share sign-in credentials. Add teammates from the Team page instead, so each person has their own sign-in.
- Point our fetcher at private networks or systems you do not control.
- Automate bulk generation beyond your plan, scrape the service, or resell access to it.
How we enforce this
The words every video will say — each product's title and description, and anything you type, such as a request to re-cut a video — are screened automatically by Creem's moderation service, together with our own checks, before anything is made. The detail is on the Content Moderation page. A request that fails screening is refused. Screening decisions are logged. The video render does not use AI to generate images, footage or voices: videos are rendered from your own photographs and listing text.
Anyone can report a published video using the report link on its share page, or by emailing abuse@shaewoo.com. We review reports and may remove content, unpublish a share link, or suspend an account. Serious cases — particularly anything involving a minor — are reported to the appropriate authorities.
Appeals
If you believe a decision was wrong, write to support@shaewoo.com with the project link and what you think we got wrong. A person will review it.
