Terms of Service

Last updated 3 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Avisekh Goswami, an individual trading as Shaewoo by DontMisimi ("Shaewoo", "we", "us") covering your use of https://shaewoo.com and the services on it. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you may bind that organisation.

1. What the service does

Shaewoo turns the product listings in an online shop — product names, descriptions, prices and photographs — into product videos, GIFs and still images for those listings, for social channels and for marketing. You choose which products go in, you can customise and re-cut each video, and you decide whether to publish it. Videos are rendered by our own engine from the photographs and listing text you supply. The render itself does not use AI models to create images, video footage, faces or voices. A few features (drafting or reading out text you send) can pass that text to a third-party AI or text-to-speech provider; the Privacy Policy names them. We do not review videos before you make them, and you decide what is published.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
  • One person or organisation per account. Do not share credentials.
  • You must give accurate billing information and keep it current.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload and of the videos you generate. You grant us a limited licence to store, process and display that material solely to operate the service for you — generating your video, hosting your share page, and keeping backups. That licence ends when you delete the content.

You are responsible for having the rights to everything you upload. Specifically, you confirm that:

  • You own the material, or have permission from whoever does.
  • Where a product photograph shows a model or any other identifiable person, you have the right to use it in advertising — the same right you need to show it on your own listing.
  • The material does not break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
  • For audio you upload (a voiceover, dubbing or a soundtrack), you own the recording or hold a licence to use it in advertising, including the music in it and the voices on it, and anyone whose voice is on it agreed to that use. You may not upload a recording made to imitate a real person's voice without their consent.

Links and connected shops. When you paste a product link or connect a shop, you instruct us to read that page or catalog for you. We fetch only pages that are publicly reachable, or data a platform gives us permission to read through its own sign-in. You confirm that you are allowed to have us read it and that doing so does not break that site's own terms. Websites and platforms set their own rules and may block us; we do not promise that any particular site or link will work.

Feedback. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without owing you anything for them. We will not publish your feedback with your name on it.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the service is governed by our Acceptable Use Policy and Prohibited Content Policy. Both form part of these terms. We screen prompts and uploaded material automatically, and we may refuse, remove or suspend anything that breaches those policies.

In particular, you may not use Shaewoo to create sexual, pornographic, nude or sexually suggestive content, any content involving minors in a sexual or harmful context, or synthetic media that shows a real person saying or doing something they did not.

5. Plans, billing and payment

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance, as you choose at checkout, through Creem, which acts as merchant of record, sells the subscription to you and appears on your statement. Prices are shown in US dollars on the pricing page before you buy; any sales tax or VAT that applies is shown by Creem at checkout. Each plan includes a stated monthly allowance; allowances reset on the first of each calendar month and do not roll over. A yearly plan costs ten times the monthly price and includes twelve monthly allowances, each of which still resets on the first of the month.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from Billing in your account (Manage or cancel subscription), which opens Creem's customer portal; access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy and are issued by Creem.

Purchases are also subject to Creem's Buyer Terms.

If you use the Shopify app, you are billed through Shopify, not through Creem. Shopify sets the charge date, taxes, invoices and the way you cancel, and its terms apply to that billing. Cancelling in Shopify or uninstalling the app ends the subscription as Shopify describes. Anything in this section about Creem applies only to subscriptions bought on our website.

What counts against the allowance. Each video started counts once, in each shape and version you chose, and it comes with its listing image and scene stills (and its GIF, if you asked for one) at no extra count. Once a video has been delivered, a change to it is a new render: each plan includes one free re-cut per video, and a re-cut beyond that counts as one video. A new run, in another shape, template or version, is new videos. A video that fails, or that we reject as below standard, is never counted.

The free plan, its allowance and its templates are offered as they are and may change. The WooCommerce plugin and the Odoo module draw on the same monthly allowance as the website; they are not a separate product.

Subscriptions are the only thing we sell. There is no one-off purchase, and no per-video charge.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may change, add or remove features. Where a change materially reduces what a paid plan provides, we will give notice by email or in the product before it takes effect.

Videos are rendered on our servers. A render depends on the photographs and product pages you point it at being reachable; when one cannot be read, the app names it rather than making a video without it.

7. Generated output and your responsibility for it

The words in a video come from your own listing, shortened to fit the frame. A video can still contain mistakes — a price that has since changed, a line cut short, a product shown against the wrong photograph. You are responsible for reviewing a video before you publish or rely on it.

You are also responsible for how you use a video: that what it says about your product is true, that prices, discounts and claims follow the advertising and consumer laws of the places you sell in, and that it follows the rules of any shop, marketplace or ad platform (Shopify, Meta, TikTok, Google and others) where you post it. Those platforms decide for themselves what they approve. We do not promise that a video will be approved, will be seen, or will increase your sales.

Music from our library. The tracks in Shaewoo's music library are original recordings that we made and own. When you put one in a video, we give you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that track as part of that video anywhere, including in paid advertising, and the licence continues for videos already made after your plan or account ends. You may not take a track out of a video to use, sell or share on its own, or register it with a content-identification service.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or our content policies, that we reasonably believe is being used unlawfully, or in response to a valid legal demand. Where the circumstances allow, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond. You may close your account at any time from your account settings; deletion removes your projects and stored files as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. No warranty and limits on liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, suited to a particular purpose, or that any video will achieve a particular result, and we exclude every warranty not stated in these terms.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost sales, lost business, loss of data, or loss caused by something outside our control, including the acts of Shopify, Creem, an ad platform, a hosting provider or any other third party. Our total liability for all claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.

10. Your promises to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of material you uploaded, a video you published, or your breach of these terms or of the law, you will pay the reasonable costs of dealing with it, including legal fees and any amount a court orders or we agree with you to pay, provided we tell you promptly and let you take part in defending it. This does not apply to a claim caused by our own breach or negligence.

11. Copyright and other complaints

If you believe a video or file made with Shaewoo infringes your copyright, trademark or privacy, write to abuse@shaewoo.com with: who you are; what you own or what right you rely on; where the material is (the share link); why you say it is infringing; and a statement that the information is accurate. We act on valid complaints promptly, usually by unpublishing the share link first, and we tell the account holder. We close accounts of people who repeatedly infringe. Knowingly false complaints may make you responsible for the harm they cause.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts. Before starting a claim, please write to support@shaewoo.com and give us 30 days to put it right.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in the product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Trademarks and platform names

Shopify, WooCommerce, Odoo, Etsy, BigCommerce, Amazon, Microsoft Excel, Squarespace and Wix are trademarks of their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Shaewoo is an independent product. Their names and marks appear on this site for one purpose only: to identify which shop platforms Shaewoo can read a product catalog from, so you can tell at a glance whether it works with yours. Most platform logos shown on our marketing pages are drawn from the open-source simple-icons set, whose icon data is released under CC0; the Amazon and Microsoft Excel logos are shown unaltered as supplied. In every case the underlying trademarks remain the property of their owners. If you own one of these marks and would rather we did not display it, write to support@shaewoo.com and we will remove it.

AI providers. Some features use AI models made by other companies: Anthropic's Claude, and models run on Cloudflare Workers AI (Meta's Llama for writing, OpenAI's Whisper for transcribing audio you upload), plus Google Cloud Text-to-Speech where a feature reads text aloud. Shaewoo is independent of all of them. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Anthropic, Meta, OpenAI, Google, Cloudflare or Creem, and nothing a model produces is a statement by its maker. Which features use which provider, and what is sent to each, is set out in the Privacy Policy.

15. General

  • These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about the service.
  • If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
  • If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
  • You may not transfer your account or these terms to someone else without our written consent. We may transfer them as part of a sale or reorganisation of the service.
  • Neither of us is responsible for a delay or failure caused by something beyond reasonable control, such as an outage at a hosting, payment or e-commerce platform, a power or network failure, or an act of government.
  • We may send notices to the email address on your account, or show them in the product. Sections that by their nature should continue after the account ends (for example sections 3, 9, 10, 11 and 12) do.
  • If you are accepting for a business, you confirm you use the service for business purposes.
  • You may not use the service if the law of your country forbids it.
