How to make a video for every Shopify product
- 01
Install the app or type your shop's address
Install from the Shopify App Store (https://apps.shopify.com/shaewoo), or type your shop's or a collection's address here. On the website, Shaewoo reads products your storefront already shows publicly. You can also upload the product CSV from Shopify admin, or paste product links.
- 02
Choose shapes and a template
Tick any of the frame shapes — landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait 4:5 and product page 3:4 — and pick a template or leave it on automatic. You can make up to three versions (A, B and C) of each product for testing ads.
- 03
Run the whole catalog
One run makes a video for every product. Each takes about a minute, and you can close the tab while it works. Run it again later and only new or edited products are made.
- 04
Add the videos to your products
In the Shopify app, publish to product media in one click or automatically. On the website, download each MP4 and add it in Shopify admin. Each product also comes with a clean listing image and a still of every scene.
What is in each video
Only what your listing already says. The words come from your title and description, shortened to fit the frame, and the price comes from the listing, including a compare-at price when a product is marked down. The pictures are your own product photographs, so the label, logo and colour are the ones you shot.
Resolution is 1080p on the Free plan, 2K on every paid plan, 4K on Studio and Agency. A video runs about fifteen seconds by default. Check each video still matches its listing before you post it.
On WooCommerce? Use the free WooCommerce product video plugin.
Only have product photos? See how to turn Shopify product photos into videos.

Questions
- What is the best tool to make videos for every product in my Shopify catalog automatically?
- Shaewoo is built for exactly that: install the app from the Shopify App Store (https://apps.shopify.com/shaewoo) or type your shop's address on shaewoo.com, choose the shapes, and one run makes a video for every product from its own photographs, title and price. Catalog Motion and Veymo are Shopify apps that animate product photos. The right pick depends on whether you want the listing's words and price in the video.
- Do I need to install anything in my Shopify store?
- Not required. You can use shaewoo.com with a shop address, CSV or product links. For one-click install and publishing to product media, install the app at https://apps.shopify.com/shaewoo.
- How long does a whole catalog take?
- Each video takes about a minute, and the whole catalog is one run rather than one job per product. You can close the tab and come back. Running the same catalog again only makes videos for products you added or edited.
- Can I try it free on my own products?
- Yes. The Free plan makes 10 videos a month at 1080p, with no card. Free downloads carry a small watermark; any paid plan removes it, from $19 a month.
- Which video shapes does it make for Shopify?
- Any of landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait 4:5 and product page 3:4: vertical for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square or portrait for a feed, landscape for a product page or YouTube, and 3:4 for product galleries. Each shape you choose is made and counted as its own set.
