Where the Shopify app stands

The Shaewoo app's Shopify App Store listing is not live yet. Until it is, you use Shaewoo here on the website, with nothing to install in your shop, and add the finished videos to your products in Shopify admin. Install options

How it works for a Shopify store

  1. 01

    Bring in your products

Type your shop's address, or one collection's address, and Shaewoo reads the products your storefront already shows. You can also upload the product CSV you export from Shopify admin, or paste product links.

  2. 02

Pick the shapes and a look

Choose any of the frame shapes — landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait 4:5 and product page 3:4 — and a template, or leave it on automatic. Each shape you choose is made, and counted, as its own set of videos.

  3. 03

    Run the whole collection

One run makes a video for every product. Each takes about a minute, and you can close the tab while it works.

  4. 04

Put the videos on your store

Download each product's MP4 and add it to that product's media in Shopify admin. Every product also comes with a clean listing image, a still of every scene and, if you ask for one, an animated GIF.

What goes into each video

Only what your listing already says. The words come from your title and description, shortened to fit the frame; the pictures are your own product photographs, so the label, logo and colour are the ones you shot. The price comes from the listing too, including a compare-at price when the product is marked down.

Because a video uses only the listing, a missing photograph or a price that has since changed will show up in it. Check each one still matches your listing before you post it.

Sizes and quality

Vertical 9:16 for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, square or portrait for a feed, landscape for a product page or YouTube, and 3:4 for product galleries. Resolution is 1080p on the Free plan, 2K on every paid plan, 4K on Studio and Agency. A video runs about fifteen seconds by default.

Questions

Is there a Shaewoo app on the Shopify App Store?
Not yet. The App Store listing is not live. Today you use Shaewoo on shaewoo.com: type your shop's address, make the videos, then add them to your products in Shopify admin.
How does Shaewoo get my Shopify products?
Type your shop's address or a collection's address and it reads the products your storefront already shows publicly. You can also upload your Shopify product CSV export or paste product links. It does not need your admin login.
What sizes are the Shopify product videos?
Any of landscape 16:9, vertical 9:16, square 1:1, portrait 4:5 and product page 3:4, about fifteen seconds long by default. Resolution is 1080p on the Free plan, 2K on every paid plan, 4K on Studio and Agency. Each video downloads as an MP4.
Can I try it on my own Shopify products for free?
Yes. The Free plan makes 10 videos a month at 1080p, with no card. Free downloads carry a small watermark; any paid plan removes it, from $19 a month.
Does it make anything up about my products?
No. The words come from your listing, shortened to fit the frame, and the pictures are your own product photographs. Check each video still matches the listing before you post it.

Try it on your own products.

Run ten of your own products through it and keep the files.
