How it works for a WooCommerce store

Download the plugin
From the install page: version 1.0.0, a normal WordPress plugin zip. You do not need to unzip it.

Upload and activate it
In WordPress: Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin → choose the file → Install Now → Activate.

Paste your connection key
Go to WooCommerce → Shaewoo Videos and paste the key from your Shaewoo account. Choose a look and a shape while you are there.

Make the videos
Open any product and press Make the video, or tick several on the products list and choose the Make Shaewoo videos bulk action. You can also have a video made whenever a product is published.
Where the video goes
On the product page, under the product summary, unless you turn that off. You can also place it anywhere with the [shaewoo_video] shortcode, or [shaewoo_video id="123"] for a specific product. The product edit screen has download links for the video and for a clean listing image from the same render.
What the plugin needs
Your site must be served over https, and your product images must be reachable from the public internet: finished videos are delivered back to your site, and never over an unencrypted connection.

What it sends, and what it never sends
Nothing is sent until you ask for a video. Then, for that product only: its title, description, price and sale price, your store name, its first category, its tags, the currency and the links of up to six of its images. Customer data, order data and your other products are never sent.
Prefer not to install anything?
Use the website instead: upload the product CSV you export from WooCommerce, or paste product links, and download the finished files to add to your products yourself.

- Is the Shaewoo WooCommerce plugin free?
- Yes. The plugin is free; what you pay for is the Shaewoo account that makes the videos. The Free plan makes 10 videos a month with a small watermark, and paid plans start at $19 a month.
- Which video shapes can the plugin make?
- 9:16 vertical by default, for Reels, TikTok and Shorts, or 1:1 square, 4:5 portrait or 16:9 landscape, chosen in the plugin's settings.
- Can it make videos for many WooCommerce products at once?
- Yes. Tick several products on the WooCommerce products list and choose the Make Shaewoo videos bulk action, or turn on making a video whenever a product is published.
- Does the plugin send customer or order data?
- No. Only when you ask for a video, it sends that product's title, description, prices, store name, first category, tags, currency and up to six image links. Customer and order data are never sent.
- Why would a WooCommerce video fail?
- Usually a connection key that is not valid, or a site not served over https: finished videos are delivered back to your site and never over an unencrypted connection. Product images must also be publicly reachable.
